Description
Many will know Timo Hatva as the guitarist in Kuja Orchestra, whose Seasons in Rhythm we released here on Jazzaggression. On Flow, Rhythm and Light he steps out on his own, recording the album in his own studio and handling the instruments himself. As the Finnish music site Desibeli put it in their review, “a new path has been opened”.
The result is ten melodic instrumentals that move from hypnotic grooves and eastern-tinged guitar themes to drifting ambient moods. It’s a record to put on and let run from start to finish.
The album was mixed by electronic musician and producer Jarmo Huhta (aka Twile), who also mastered the digital version, and the sleeve features a painting by Sofia Ziessler-Korppi.
Cut direct to plastic at Jazzaggression Handmade, reused sleeves limited to 30 individually numbered copies. The artist got 20 of them, which leaves 10 numbered copies for sale through our shop.
