Okay, our yearly Christmas record is up for grabs—and these will fly! We had a lot of requests for the first one, with people asking for a rerun because they missed out or just loved the sounds. So we thought, why not do another 25? But hey, that wouldn’t really stay true to our promise of keeping it limited.
Last time I was in Oslo, I sat down with Svein and slowly persuaded him to make a second volume. Personally, I really love the calm vibe of the first volume. Svein had already made a couple of bonus tracks for the first album (released on streaming), which weren’t on the original 2022 release. So a few more tracks later, and voilà—we have Volume 2.
Svanzini is a one-man band created by Svein Hansen, a legendary Oslo musician who started out in rhythm and blues with The Bats, The Sapphires, the Jan Simonsen Quintet, and his own project Ola Narr. He’s a true multi-instrumentalist, handling bass, piano, guitar, percussion—you name it.

This edition is limited to 25 numbered copies, with printed sheets glued onto reused sleeves.
