Description
Following the success of Inge W. Breistein – Solo Sax Piren Bryggen, here is the latest instalment: a similar approach where the outdoor environment becomes part of the free improvisation, with the player responding to his surroundings.
This time the setting is Mount Fløyen, around 400 metres above Bergen, easily reached by the steep Fløibanen funicular from the city centre. Inge Weatherhead Breistein has long been an important voice on the Norwegian west coast scene, working across jazz, free improvisation and experimental electronics. His practice often explores the relationship between saxophone, sound and environment, making this setting a natural extension of his work.
Hand made 10″ lathe, hand-stamped with an individual number on the back, housed in a flipped used cover and plastic sleeve.
